New Computational Immunology Course in the FOCISed Lineup at FOCIS 2015!

email logo computational

FOCIS is excited to announce Computational Immunology, a new course, to be offered June 23 in San Diego prior to FOCIS 2015! This new course is aimed at scientists involved or interested in the use of multi-dimensional data generated by modern genomics and proteomics technologies such as mass/flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing and microarrays. The course will also provide a better basic understanding of modern statistical and mathematical concepts necessary for their analysis and interpretation.

The course will be led by bioinformatics experts Dr. Magnus Fontes from Lund University in Sweden and Dr. Emanuele de Rinaldis of King's College London. This exciting new course will feature a half day of presentations along with case studies and an interactive review session. Scientific case studies will be presented with results, conclusions and suggestions discussed. Attendees will form teams to review a pre-selected scientific paper and present their analysis and answers in a moderated discussion.

Along with Computational Immunology, FOCIS will provide 3 additional educational courses prior to the FOCIS 2015 meeting. These courses provide attendees with an opportunity to advance their careers by learning from world-renowned faculty members. All of the courses will be held at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, the FOCIS 2015 headquarters, on June 23-24. Package rates are available along with discounted prices for trainees and fellows.
