FOCIS Centers of Excellence

The FOCIS Centers of Excellence (FCE) provide an opportunity to build an interdisciplinary translational immunology community at your institution. Being a member FCE community offers an effective training environment for translational researchers and clinicians by promoting interdisciplinary innovation in research and clinical practices, and promoting new links for researchers and clinicians.

This network of institutions accelerates innovation in investigation and clinical practice. In the two years since its creation the FCE has:

  • Established local networks of physicians and investigators
  • Raised awareness for clinical immunology at academic institutions

The FCE provides interdisciplinary training programs for students, fellows and continuing education of physicians through FOCIS assisted opportunities such as:

  • Advanced Course in Basic & Clinical Immunology
  • Medical Undergraduate Immunology Course
  • B-cell Outreach Program
  • FOCIS Annual Meeting and Trainee Satellite Symposium
