What are the dates of FOCIS 2006?
FOCIS 2006 will be held Thursday, June 1 through Monday, June 5, 2006.

Are reduced registration rates available?
Yes, members of the FOCIS Member Societies are entitled to reduced registration rates. Reduced registration rates are also available for delegates who book a hotel room at the San Francisco Marriott.

What forms of payment are accepted by FOCIS?
Online and faxed registrations require a credit card. FOCIS accepts MasterCard, VISA, and American Express. If you register via post, you or your sponsoring organization may issue a check drawn on a US bank in US funds made payable to FOCIS.

Registrations MUST be accompanied by an accepted form of payment. Please enclose a copy of the registration form when mailing a check.

How do I request a Preliminary Program or a registration form?

If I cancel my registration, will I receive a refund?
If you cancel your registration before the cancellation deadline you will receive a refund of your registration fee, minus a $25 administrative fee. The last day to cancel your registration is April 15, 2006.

When will I receive a confirmation letter?
Upon receipt of your registration form, your payment will be processed and you should receive a confirmation letter via post within three weeks.

How can I request a receipt for meeting registration?
Your confirmation letter is your receipt for the meeting. Please use your confirmation letter as proof you have paid your registration fees and will attend the meeting.

How do I register to attend a Satellite Program?
To register for a Satellite Program, please contact the Member Society organizing the program, as registration processes vary. FOCIS does not process registrations for Member Society Satellite Programs.

How do I register for the Basic Immunology for Clinicians course?
You may register for this course alone, or as part of your FOCIS 2006 registration. You do NOT need to register to attend FOCIS 2006 to register for the course. Click the "Register Online" link above to register for the course and FOCIS 2006.

Can I register onsite for FOCIS 2006?
Yes, you can register onsite at the registration desk located at the San Francisco Marriott. If you pre-register, however, your materials will be available for immediate pickup and you will be able to take advantage of lower pre-registration fees. A limited number of registration materials will be available for onsite registrations and will be distributed while supplies last.

When will I know if my abstract has been accepted for presentation at FOCIS 2006?
Abstract acceptance notices will be sent by email March 20, 2006. Notices will only be sent to authors listed as contacts for the abstract. If you do not receive a notice, please contact the FOCIS Executive Office.

If my abstract is accepted for presentation, do I need to confirm my participation?
Yes, if your abstract is accepted, you must register to attend the meeting by April 1. FOCIS considers your registration a confirmation that you will attend the meeting, and we will include your abstract in a poster session and print it in the Abstract Supplement. If you do NOT register by April 1, FOCIS considers this a formal withdrawal of your abstract. You will not be scheduled for presentation and your abstract will not be printed in the Abstract Supplement or Final Program.
