FOCIS 2024 Annual Meeting
FOCIS 2024 Annual Meeting
Join us in San Francisco for the 24th Annual Meeting of the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS 2024).Â
FOCIS is THE meeting in translational immunology that will give you a competitive edge in your career. Stay ahead of the curve with leading clinicians and researchers delivering the latest breakthroughs across immune-mediated diseases. Focusing on molecular pathways and their implications in human disease provides the unique opportunity for innovative thinking and applying ideas from the pathologies of other diseases to uncover novel solutions to challenges in the diseases you study.
Through the FOCIS Annual Meeting, researchers and clinicians share knowledge across traditional disease borders and identify commonalities between treatments and therapies that are life-changing for those affected by immune-mediated diseases. From the introduction of monoclonal antibodies in clinical practice to recent advances in cancer immunotherapy, the past more than two decades have been transformational for patients living with immune-mediated diseases.
FOCIS 2024 will take place, in person, June 18-21, 2024, at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. Abstract submission, registration, and hotel accommodation opened on October 25, 2023.
Your Health and Safety
Your health and safety remain a top priority for FOCIS. The Annual Meeting will be held fully in person, and we are committed to keeping you safe. .

FOCIS Member Society Symposium
The FOCIS 2024 Member Society Symposia submission portal is now open.
FOCIS invites your society to apply to host a symposium at the FOCIS 2024 Annual Meeting. Hosting a symposium allows you to showcase your society, research, and current initiatives.
The FOCIS 2024 Annual Meeting is June 18–21, 2024, at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, California. Member Society symposia are held on the first day of the FOCIS 2024 Annual Meeting, Tuesday, June 18, 2024.Â
If you are interested in becoming a FOCIS Member Society (MS), click here.
Why Host a MS Symposium?
- Increase Your Visibility – Showcase your society, research, and current initiatives to nearly 1,000 FOCIS 2024 meeting attendees
- No Cost – FOCIS will provide complimentary meeting space, standard audio/visual equipment, one coffee break, and pre-event advertising
- Choose Your Duration – Request either a quarter-day or half-day symposium (morning or afternoon)
- Collaboration Opportunity – Collaborate with one or more societies for a joint symposium and examine immunology from multiple angles in one cohesive session
Space is limited. We strongly encourage you to apply early. Preference will be given to symposia co-hosted by two or more societies.
Complete the 2024 Member Society Symposium online application. The application requests the symposium title, description, preferred time slot, and key society contacts. Submissions will be accepted through Wednesday, November 15, 2023.Â

All symposium chairs and speakers should be prepared to coordinate speaker slides. There will be a dedicated A/V tech that can assist with any issues/questions, as well as FOCIS staff on-hand for additional assistance.
FOCIS will provide complimentary meeting space, audio visual equipment (laptop, projector and screen, slide advancer, lectern mic), and one coffee break (coffee, decaf, tea) in the shared hallway outside your room.
Speaker Registration
All Member Society symposia speakers need to register for FOCIS 2024 and make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. All speakers must be registered for FOCIS 2024 by Friday, April 5, 2024.
Speakers are eligible for a 50% reimbursement of their registration if they stay for the duration of FOCIS 2024 and complete the FOCIS 2024 attendee evaluation available after the event.
We encourage your society to consider covering the speaker’s registration, and upon completion of the evaluation, your society will receive the 50% reimbursement.
